Charity Heating Installation
We were only too pleased to take part in this wonderful initiative to bring a much needed central heating system to the Let's Play centre for disabled children.
'Heat for Good' is an initiative run by heating systems manufacturer, Viessmann but also includes the wider heating industry. In the case of the Let's Play project, radiators from QRL Radiator Group, Calor LPG gas cylinders and more than £1,500 worth of additional parts were donated by industry suppliers. The fitting of all this equipment was carried out by Marcus Bull and Connor Jordan of MB Plumbing and Heating (Nottingham) Ltd, part of an eight-strong team that gave up their time in January to fit a boiler and radiators to the previously unheated building.
“Our building had no heating in place at all so there was no option to ‘make do.’ Without the help of Viessmann and installers such as Marcus and Connor, the heating investment would have been huge and eaten into precious funds, which we can now put towards new sensory equipment. The work of the team has been nothing short of a miracle. We are now able to move in and can offer many more children a place to come and play after school, as well as provide support to more parents and siblings.”
